Routine physical exams are scheduled 1-2 weeks in advance depending on availability. For sick or urgent visits, we make every effort to see you the same day you call for an appointment

Appointments

Please either call or book online for appointments and let us have a brief idea of your problem so that we can schedule appropriately. Please make it clear if you need a full physical check-up, a sick visit, or a follow-up. If several family members are ill and need to be seen, please let us know - squeezing them in without an appointment will keep others waiting.

You might have to fill some of our office forms. Our staff will inform you when you schedule which forms are needed. (Forms are available on our website for download as well as in our office, with instructions on how and when to use each form.) To help the office run on schedule, we greatly appreciate your prompt arrival for your appointment. Please arrive 30 minutes early if you have a change in address or insurance so forms can be updated. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, we may need to reschedule your visit. Insurance and Billing

If your particular insurance is not listed, please feel free to contact our billing department by calling our main number to inquire about your specific plan.

Please have your card with you at the time of your visit. It is your responsibility to notify the front desk about any changes in your demographic information (new phone numbers, new address, new insurance etc). If we file your claim, you are responsible for only the co-pay at the time of visit and any unpaid balances. If you receive a “private pay” discount, you cannot submit charges for reimbursement to your insurance company. This is considered fraud.

Every attempt will be made to verify your insurance benefits and eligibility prior to your appointment time. In the event we are unable to do so, the guarantor will be responsible for payment at the time of service. You will be given the appropriate paper work to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

If we are not a provider for your insurance, if you are not insured or we do not file with your insurance company, you may be responsible for the entire charge at the time of service.

An administration fee of $15.00 will be assessed to all statements if you do not pay your financial responsibility at the time of service and/or a payment plan has not been established. If 3 statements need to be sent because of non-payment you will be given a 10 day notice for demand of payment. Unfortunately your account will be turned over to a collection agency unless you call the office to make payment arrangements. They will assess a 33% service charge to cover collection fees.

Payment Options

We accept checks, cash Visa and MasterCard. We also offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own pediatrician.

Urgent Issue/Emergencies
It is always best to call the office during office hours if your child becomes ill during the day. Same-day visits will be scheduled for urgent problems. If you have an urgent problem or if your child becomes ill after hours or on holidays or weekends, please call our main office number Saturday visits are available by appointment only Should you come to the office without an appointment during regular office hours, we will screen your child's problem for urgency and schedule appropriately for an available appointment. There can be a wait before this availability occurs; therefore, we always encourage you to call for an appointment first.

Telephone Advice
We are happy to answer any questions and to address any concerns that you may have about your child. Please call the office during office hours if your child becomes ill during the day, for non-urgent problems, for ongoing problems, and for routine child care issues We will call you back with advice or will advise a future appointment if necessary.

Privacy Policy
It is the policy of our practice to preserve the integrity and the confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) pertaining to our patients. Patients should not be afraid to provide information to our practice for purposes of treatment, payment and healthcare operations(TPO)
